Adare Manor GC is one of the few Irish woodland courses that stays open year round. This beautiful woodland course, which is renowned for its tree-lined fairways, testing greens and historical ruins, offers both the amateur and professional a stern challenge. The Desmond Castle (1200 ad) is a magnificent backdrop to the 1st and 15th greens, while the ruins of the Franciscan Abbey (1464 ad) dominate the center of the course.
In the late 1890’s the 4th Earl of Dunraven employed Scottish professional, Ben Sayers to design a 9 hole golf course on the Earl’s estate in Adare. This course was completed in 1900. In 1932 the club affiliated to the Golfing Union of Ireland and so the foundations of the current club were formed. In 1992 the current 18 hole course, designed by Eddie Hackett, was opened and in the year 2000 the club celebrated it’s centenary. A 5,000 year old bog oak sculpture was erected at the back of the 18th green to commemorate this special occasion and a time capsule was buried at it’s base. This capsule is to be resurrected in the year 2050.

Luxurious accommodation in a Deluxe Manor Room with either a King Size Bed or Twin beds (two double beds) for either 2 adults and 2 children under 13 or up to 3 adults and 1 child under 13 (extra bed charges for 3rd adult apply).
Children Policy
- 0-2 years: share free with adults in existing bedding
- 3-12 years: €12.50 supplement per child per night to include breakfast
- 13 years and older: adult supplement of €90 per night to include breakfast
Rate includes traditional Full Irish breakfast in The Oakroom Restaurant.
