Trinidad and Tobago

Art lovers can head to the Gallerie dell’Accademia and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco to see some of history’s greatest painters coloring the walls with their truly inspired frescoes. When you feel like seeing a quiet side of Venice without the gondolas, the Vivaldi, the anti-pasti and the hordes of tourists then head to the lovely lagoon around the island of Burano where bright canal side streets are full of lace and hand woven stories.
